The morning rigor !

For past some days I had been feeling really lethargic ! Still the winter sunshine was working its magic, inviting as it was to go out , get warmed up and get going !
So finally today a surge of energy did its magic despite sleeping late last night and I woke up it the around 8.30 !
Not an entirely bad time to go out in the fog still surrounding and as after getting the bike warmed up i stepped outside and hit the road it felt real good ! like that first surge of excitement on something you longed for !

The morning sunshine, the foggy morning, the empty road and a good park ! Things did turn out to be pretty interesting ! Now only resolution to carry this on in coming weeks ! So I am setting a calender to keep a tab ! Lets see how it goes :)

Whats it with some authors or Some books ? How they manage to draw you in their own world and as you come back to reality it pales in comparison ?

Reading R2020 brought back nostalgia, fervor, shades of fountain head and lots of thoughts to chew..That's what brought me back to the blog..A place where i could let them brew and then put to words and take them off my head..

As days pass and a search for purpose intensifies I seek the old fervor,passion - a zeal for a challenge..As i turned back the pages it brought old memories back..A simplistic bravado...

A zeal to look for real passion .To turn dreams into reality... As days turn I want this place to be alive.Bring old memories ,dreams ,places to life...

Cant wait to type this out...Yesterday saw this movie "Freedom Writers" and it sent me back to blogging days...Sorta missed pouring those thoughts out in words, letting them stay forever, not to mention bug all your friends !! After all what use is technology if not put to proper use !!

So here I am once more sitting at Mumbai airport , My fingers dancing over the keyboard !

What is with me that nostalgia keeps hitting me all the time ?Entering the spanking new Mumbai airport reminded me of the times when i waited for Varu ...we appearing for our first TISS interview(...actually only Varuna..me just barging in as usual )Deepu booking my ticket on Indigo when no train tickets were available , We crashing at Monjo's place at Malad and totally relished uncle and auntie's hospitality and meeting didi genius...the first trip to Juhu ...making a friend during the flight and then loosing her forever at the end of it (well ,what can u do ? )

Then a lot of Mumbai memories come swarming in, especially the swine fly makemytrip blunder and me going from Pune to Mumbai on a flight of precise 16 mins !! Yeaay ! on their expense ! The power of Negotiating !

Anyways the point is AM SUPEr DUPER EXCITED !

Sitting here, typing this out feels like as if i am about to complete some mega stage of my life and move into something else ! An entirely different League ! Like Neo in Matrix one in last 20 mins :P

And can't help figuring out that one of the reasons that there is no fear,no regret -Lucky to have such loving souls that life has blessed me with ! My elixir...

So here on this note we close at the moment, but watch out !! My journal is actually just getting up after along hibernation and is yawning big time :D

Hey forgive me for the SMS lingo but that has been the title playing in my head since long...

It's been four weeks since I climbed this hill and willingly sent myself off to one more school one last time(hopefully !) and every single day i wished to have written in detail about how it's going.Want to make a detailed post soon but for the moment took this break from the assignment and wanted to share this pic- More or less captures what keeps me going here !

These days it's literally a walk on clouds with light mist spraying on face all the time !Took the pic while coming from classes .The road that you see connects to hostels and dining area and is our daily route here.Just what the doctor ordered for me...

Am always amazed the 24 hours pass in a jiffy so many times !
A day - something i have cherished in the concept - is like a chapter in the book of life - a beginning and an end...
And most of these times i really hate the thought of letting it pass in a jiffy..
And some how it does ! I think almost always !!

I think i would love to do certain things on every day ...
Like let us say watch at least one out of sunrise and sunset...
Go for a liitle drive in early morning...Have a walk while listening to some soulful music,Think about nothing else but just being alive...

Then work 8am-9pm whatever comes your way..
around 9 go have a tasty dinner...
Finish around 9.30...Then catch a movie or watch an episode of lost,24 or PB or maybe some gaming with friends - a god of war or final fantasy would be nice !
Call a friend ..have a heart to heart talk...read your favourite fantasy or fiction book or comic for half an hour...listen to a song or two ...watch a couple of good videos...
write your diary , make a blog post , send a mail to all your dearest friends !!! How nice would that be !!!!

Somehow even if i get everything else done but miss on this part of my day , i do feel very strongly i haven't done justice to the day !
Here's just trying myself to LIVE IT day by day EVERYDAY !

After all every day is the first day of rest of our lives !

I think i am guilty here ,missing time for my own self,with my friends for things that are important to me...
A lot has been happening and it will keep happening but never at the cost of what i love and what gives meaning to my life, my
thoughts,experiences and the loved ones who make it all worth for !

Am gonna be regular here again guys ! there's a lot to catch up on !And many good news !! Wanna keep all that posted !

Today is the first day of TISS new session...
Today I am back in Bangalore after a two weeks break...

Today marks a new beginning.

A promise to myself that one year from now I will be onto the next phase of my education.

It's sweet and strange the way emotions stir...
One day i just wanted to run away back to my life in Bangalore...And now as the snapshots of my city pass through in front of my eyes,the landmarks, the roads,the corners , dad driving with a joy as well as sadness, mom a little tense, a little sad, matto ready with all her jokes which make dad happy and annoy mom i just wish to last it forever.
Suddenly and impulsively i DON'T wanna leave !
I just want to stay at home and help mom and dad and play with my sis and cousins.I don't want to be in a rush...
And i feel sad to remember that last 7 days have been nothing but a whirlwind.Dashing from one destination to another,catching up with one loved one at the cost of other- i felt like i was trying to catch up my life of an year in a week...
I am actually bewildered that how do people manage to leave their loved ones and move far away over a length of time and try compensating for it with
visits in once a while.
I strongly felt that if you really care you should be there with the ones you love...
And on the other hand i also understand this need to grow far and wide with roots firmly in ground...
Somehow there's a little conflict in my mind which i am trying to make up my mind about...
Still can't stop thinking about the little moments of these few days that keep rushing into mind as i think of these days-sis laughing and sulking with equal intensity, mom trying to beat the heat with that mafia style cloth around her neck, dad laughing mischievously at his own mischief, my little cousins going all crazy at the whiff of independence away from their moms,seeing beri boy running around trying to find his old roomie, laughing madly when the headlights of beri's jeep go out in the middle of nowhere and we are driving in pitch black with driver cursing in the most choicest of explicit Punjabi abuses, standing at the edge of hills and letting the rain soak our hair and just feeling the chill...

Am a little angry at the dishonesty of my fellow "brotheren" and for having delayed my journey a bit more...I had on my side double checked everywhere in the room but somehow ignored the bag that we had carried yesterday...

Call it whatever but one of the things that i have missed most after leaving Thapar was the bus rides through roads of Punjab !
Alright it's no kind of luxury experience or anything but what i love is the scenery that i can chew on for hours,the fragrance of fields ( barring that strong stench of liquor manufacturing near beas), mere Punjabi log and all the memories associated with those roads...

Them in Nizammdin met this another chap who reminded me of my days five years ago.He had spent two years in Bansal kota so reminded of those times.And was a first year iitkgp mechie so again reminded of an old friend some 7 years ago...Well that was that...
And also finally got a watch for myself at a good rate along with a calculator watch thrown in at a goodprice.I love these quick picks...
Listened to Delhi Fm and i realised i was finally up north ! All the channels were Hindi or Eng and for a change i enjoyed surfing these channels.Lucky Delhi people !
Finally was waiting for next train to be announced,and was thinking that weather is not too bad when amidst the normal weary traveller dragging their feet i saw these two Valkeries with white tops and blue jeans and a spring in their steps walking in busy Delhi station with a non chalance as if the place belonged to them...
Couldn't resist the urge to just join them in whatever destination they were after...Had this feeling that for some time i do want to just to pack my bags and "Go see the World !"

Just now i made da post " I an alive " and again the song started playing !
Now that's a 2/25000 probability - i guess criteria enough for me to declare it a Miracle and me a Saint! :D

Exactly 8 years ago on this same very day at 7.20 am i had for a few heart stopping seconds felt that "i guess that was my life " as i tumbled across the air in slow motion my bike slipping away and the white maruti shrieking over my head ...
Well that was that.Never realised how special moment was for me.
I was just so happy when i came to my senses - it just felt great to be ALIVE ! I guess i had sort of always taken it for granted.
But the moment made me realise that every single second of this life is too precious and irreplaceable And made me promise to myself that i will always live a life in which i DO what i want to do - having some good times at home,spending some great moments with my other tabbar,driving my bike on open roads,not missing a sunrise ,sunset, rain shower or a rainbow !
I think it did change a little something at the core of my heart and respect and appreciate the miracle of every single moment of my sweet little existence...
To that moment and all the ones i had with all you sweet chums in these years - here's a HURRAY for the LIFE itself !

Of course the snap doesn't even begin to do justice to the feeling of driving under the Rainbow ! The history goes that there were two boys 7&8 years old who used to go to a mam who was such a sweetie pie and fun to be with,had a rabbit which even knew toilet manners and took us for long walks in evenings in setting sun in beautiful surroundings of Tibbri Cantt !
Then after two years when things changed the love didn't and throughout the changes of Jammu,Goa and all and from snail mail to email we did keep a regular tab on each other!
And Bangalore for me earlier meant nothing more than
than John mam's
home city and always wanted to visit it !
So one of the biggest fascination in coming here was to get the chance to spend those golden times again.
(the other boy that i used to go to mam with also happened to be in Bangalore but that's another story that corporate life totally stole him away...)
on Tuesday had another great day with mam- five dosas,with Pudina Sambhar and then some long chatting in mam's balcony and then meeting mam's other best friend- an 85 year old gentleman who in one look inspired
you to Live Life to the fullest !
He had such amazing health for such age that he drives on his own and even cooks his own meals while managing his own life single handedly !
(probably one of the secrets of this feat is the bachelor life he has lead !)
he is still involved in social volunteering has made such a difference to some lives that it really was great to meet someone as inspiring as him.
He asked me what were my hobbies and when i mentioned reading he gifted me a reader's digest collection of stories !
Thanks sir and thanks mam !
Helps me to see the bigger picture of life and really understand what matters through all these years - friends and love !

The area we stay in has got some really deferent color of its own .I call it "Ejipura kee waadiyaan".
You have the feeling of living in some very typical
community with eccentricities like beating dhol like instrument all night long unfortunately right beneath my window !
Anyways there's this road which helps you beat sony signal and reach 6th block koramangala directly.
Someone had the grand idea of building a gate to this Ejipura kee waadiyaan.(what use are good roads,consistent water supply or electricity anyways-gate is always better !)
As a result we have this construction going for last two weeks !
Doesn't it really looking something out of LORD of the Rings right now !

Like ulsoor it is another spot of gorgeous beauty with a big lake surrounded by trees and a beautiful to pavement to walk on.
One of the best spots !
Everytime i am passing it i just love stopping by and forget about everything else and just look at it !

Malleshawaram- the real bangalore

Most of the people working in Bangalore relate to it through Koramangala or Btm or max MG Road !
But if you really want to get the real idea why Bangalore is considered a heaven to stay visit Malleshwaram.
Beautiful sloping roads curving up and down covered completely by dense population of coconut trees and some trees which are so huge that they can cover a whole football ground !

Had the chutti today.Did some reading,some surfing and dozed off.When i got up wanted to go out and grab something and that is when i see these dark clouds outside window !

Finally we are gonna try it !

Alright the place is just opposite forum so had always been curious to try this one.

The rates are ok .(Ok in Bangalore Sense :)
We ordered Paneer Butter Masala and a Sabzi in some strange gravy ,(had to !)
Roti,Kulcha,Garlic kulcha,jal zeera and thandai !

The Paneer Butter Masala is totally worth a try ! Made in tomato sauce it has got a sweet
tingy taste which combined with paneer makes it a dish to try.
Sabzi was ok with everything from kacha corn to cpasicum to peas to what not thrown in
but can't really comment on it as I am one of those believers who feel that eating out is Paneer and more paneer :D (always have to take flak for this one !)
Jal zeera was so so with 6/10 while thandai fans appreciated it royally !

All in all worth the try !
